Vacancies
There are several positions available for most projects at both the post-doctoral and graduate student level.Regulation of Ca-transport:
■ Open applications accepted:
Preferred candidates should have a prior background in
either NMR, X-ray crystallography or molecular biology and
display willingness to learn and work with a broad array
structural and biophysical techniques to study structure
and function of Ca-binding protein domains.
Project in collaboration with Dr. Mark Hilge, Prof.Dr.
Bindels (NCMLS, Nijmegen), Prof.Dr.
Roubos (Institute for Neuroscience,
Nijmegen).
PDZ domains:
■ Graduate student
position (4 years) or post-doc
(2 years); knowledge of NMR structure determination.
Focus in the project on modulation of PDZ specificity
resulting from allosteric domain-domain interactions.
Project in collaboration with Dr. W. Hendriks
(NCMLS, Nijmegen), Dr. S. Gianni
(University of Rome), Prof. L. Dente (University of
Pisa). Preliminary EU-network in-place.
Validation project:
■ Graduate Student position (4
years): Development of new NMR validation tools and methods
for improved NMR structure determination. Knowledge of
structure determination procedures (preferentially by NMR)
is a much valued asset. Good programming skills.
Project in collaboration with Prof.Dr. G. Vriend
(CMBI, Nijmegen) and EU
extendNMR network project.
